TutorCentral — Terms & Conditions
1. Tuition Sessions
Tuition is provided either at the student's home, online, or at an agreed location. Sessions may be delivered on a one-to-one basis or as part of a small group. One-to-one sessions are scheduled on an agreed day and time each week, with a standard duration of 55 minutes unless otherwise agreed. Group sessions are capped at a maximum of 6 students to ensure quality of teaching.
2. Registration
Registration is required before tuition can commence. By registering, the parent or guardian confirms that all information provided is accurate and up to date. Registration is subject to approval by the tutor. Once approved, an account will be activated and access to the parent portal will be granted, through which parents can view invoices, manage their child's details, and enrol their child into available group sessions. The tutor reserves the right to decline or withdraw registration at their discretion.
3. Payment
Invoices for one-to-one tuition are issued at the start of each calendar month and are due within 7 days of issue. Group session invoices are issued upon enrolment and are due prior to the group session start date. The invoice reference number must be used as the payment reference when making bank transfers. Late payment may result in suspension of tuition.
4. Missed Lessons
No refunds are given for lessons missed by the student. All missed lessons will be logged and rescheduled at a mutually convenient time. Where a home visit cannot feasibly be rescheduled, an equivalent group session may be offered as an alternative.
5. Rate Changes
The tutor reserves the right to amend the hourly or session rate with reasonable notice. All historic invoices will remain charged at the rate applicable at the time of issue.
6. Data & Privacy
All personal information collected during registration and throughout the tuition period is held securely. It is used solely for the purpose of administering tuition sessions, invoicing, and communication. Personal data will not be shared with any third parties without explicit consent, in accordance with UK data protection law.
